Hollywood Doesn't Live Here anymore

The writer was someone involved in Hollywood his entire life, starting as a kid actor in the Charlie Chaplin movie "City Lights", and then moving on to the "Our Gang" shorts, and eventually becoming an award-winning editor, then a director.
This book is a continuation of the writer's biography from his first book, "Growing Up in Hollywood". This one covers the author's duty in World War II, and many small stories where he was involved with famous people, including twice going to Pamplona with Ernest Hemingway to watch the running of the Bulls. Other famous people are John Wayne, whom Parrish met while he was a child actor, and he saw Wayne again near the end of his life; Orson Welles, when Parrish directed him in "Casino Royale"; Peter Sellers, who comes off as a creep; John Ford, who Parrish knew very well, as Ford was his commanding officer during WW II in Britain while they both were employed by the OSS; and Sam Spiegel (producer of "Lawrence of Arabia").
None of the anecdotes or stories of these famous people are Earth-shattering, but they are all amusing and interesting. I can't quite give this Five stars, because the stories don't all connect with each other, and sometimes Parrish doesn't quite finish them (for instance, when Parrish is in England during a bombing run from Nazi planes, he meets a noble-woman, whom he promises to meet again the next day, and then the story isn't completed, we never find out if something interrupted the meeting, or what).
